Integrate HelloID Service Automation Portal as a Microsoft Teams App
R
Rico Roodenburg
We request the ability to install the HelloID Service Automation Portal as an app within Microsoft Teams. This integration would allow end users to request access to specific products directly from the Teams interface and enable managers to approve or deny these requests within Teams. Additionally, we would like Teams notifications for both managers and employees about request statuses.
Use Case:
With this integration, end users can submit access requests to products directly within Teams. Managers receive notifications in Teams when a new request requires their approval and can approve or deny requests directly in the app. Once a request is processed, employees receive a notification in Teams informing them if their request has been approved or denied. This feature simplifies and centralizes the request process and keeps all involved parties informed without needing to switch platforms.
Benefits:
Increased User Accessibility: Users can make and track requests directly within Teams, reducing the need to navigate to other applications.
Streamlined Approval Process: Managers are notified in Teams of pending approvals, allowing for faster, more convenient decision-making.
Improved Communication: Automated Teams notifications keep employees updated on the status of their requests, reducing uncertainty and improving satisfaction.
Enhanced Productivity: The integrated Teams workflow minimizes platform switching, enhancing efficiency for both users and managers.

Rico Roodenburg Thank you for your feature request. I understand the request and the value this integration could bring. However, such integrations have a significant impact on our development capacity. At this time, we have chosen to focus our resources on developing new features within HelloID rather than on integrations with external software solutions. I will keep this feature request open and monitor additional votes and replies so we can reassess it in the future.
