Permission overview with assigned business rules
planned

Currently we have no overview off all entitlements and in which business rules they are configured. This means if you want to replace an entitlement with another one you’ll have to export the business rules and search within Excel or another application for the entitlement. Check which business rules the entitlement belongs to and go to those business rules and replace the entitlement. This is a lot of work and ideally you should be able to do this in HelloID without an export or use of other tools. Therefore we would like to have an overview off all entitlements and which business rules it is configured in and the person which has that entitlement.

Entitlements and its business rules

It would be very usefull if you could see in what business rules a specific entlement is stated.
It is possible now to see what entitlements are stated in a business rule, but not the other way round; in what business rules the entitelement is stated.

Probleemomschrijving

remove entitlement automatically when AD-group is removed

When obsolete AD-group(s) have been removed HelloID still keeps trying to add users to the removed group. At the moment I have to check all business rules for the removed group and then remove it by hand. I would like to see that when a group is removed from the AD it automatically will be removed from all business rules.

If you cleanup AD it would be nice when you get no errors or have to fix something in HelloID e.g. removing manually the group from a business rule.

Hi Ruud, if you look up a person in the Persons overview who has the entitlement you’re looking for, then go to the Entitlements tab and select the correct entitlement. There you can see in which business rule(s) the entitlement is currently active, and whether the person is “in rule.”

Some solution would be nice. Now HelloID is stuck on groups that no longer excists. Maybe a checkbox in a group setting to give a warning if the group is very important. And other groups just auto delete?

Some insights might be helpful to. AD isn't the only target system with permissions, and it would be helpful if there is an overview of all entitlements that don't exist anymore.
maybe there can be a warning icon on the business rule if there is an entitlement which no longer exists. Removing entitlements from business rules without warning can result in unexpected behavior.

Niek de Melker: You describe what i was thinking when a saw the post. A warning would be better. The consequence of the action is visable, and that's a big yes for me in IT.
