Import source system from Github
complete

We would like to see all the source systems supplied on GitHub in HelloID and import them automatically when we select a particular system. This makes it easier to add configure systems and less time-consuming besides we don't have to leave HelloID to check which source systems we currently have in our catalog. Be aware that connectors supplied on GitHub are maintained by best effort and could not work in your environment without any changes.
Suggested solution:
Tools4ever Github: https://github.com/Tools4everBV
- Show list of all source connectors on Tools4ever GitHub
- Import source connector (includes person script, department script, mapping, icon, description)
- Make use of GitHub release (tags) to determine the release version of the connector
- Show the release version and GitHub repo URL in audit logging

Can I add to this, that this shouldn't be GitHub exclusive?
I get that a lot of organizations use it, and I get that using the release tags on other platforms might be a stretch, but plenty of organizations use Azure DevOps Repo's or GitLab for this.
This is especially true for connectors built in-house for our own applications.

Robin F: This feature was already planned and discussed with development so we can't increase the scope after it's promised for a certain release. Because the feature is planned only for GitHub (with only the Tools4ever B.V. repository https://github.com/Tools4everBV). I've created a new feedback item with your suggestions under your name: https://helloid.canny.io/provisioning/p/support-sourcetarget-import-from-azure-devops-repos-and-gitlab
