API access to source/target systems to read configuration

We'd like to have an API to read the configuration of source and target systems with the intent to run our own backups, currently this information is not backuped. With an api we can scrape this data and save it to our own datastore so we can back this data up for ourselves.

Using clickops to manage our business critical IAM system is unacceptable in this day and age. There needs to be a programmatic way to manage provisioning.

The API structure is solely built for SA and AM. Literally nothing from Provisioning is being handled in the current API. Provisioning is available over 4 years and here to stay. I'd say it is about time to deliver a fully functional API for Provisioning. It gives us better opportunities in efficiently managing the tenants for our customers.
